A Carer is someone looking after a friend, relative or neighbour who cannot manage without help because of age, physical or learning disability substance misuse and/or mental illness.

WHO ARE THE CARLISLE CARERS ASSOCIATION?

The Carlisle Carers Association is a charity offering support to Carers in Carlisle and district. The charity was established in 2002 and since then has been in contact with over 2000 Carers. The organisation is governed by trustees, many of whom are or have been Carers themselves.
