HOW CAN WE SUPPORT YOU?

There are many ways in which the CCA can support Carers but as each caring role can differ drastically we usually assess the situation via a home visit from one of our Carer Support Workers then, with the Carers consent, decide on the best course of action.

INFORMATION

Information on all aspects of caring, benefits advice, all other help available to Carers

SUPPORT

A visit from one of our Carer Support Workers to assess your needs, telephone help line and general advice. We also have a Young Carers project in place for Carers aged 5-24

SOCIAL EVENTS/TRIPS

Giving Carers and their loved ones the chance to spend quality time with each other as well as other Carers

CARERS ASSESSMENTS

This is an assessment of your Caring situation which will help us to identify your requirements and make your caring role as manageable as possible.

QUARTERLY BULLETIN

A quarterly newsletter which includes the latest news ,reports and information affecting Carers plus information and dates on trips, activities and events the CCA are organising.

COUNSELLING SERVICES

Access to counselling services for registered Carers. We have two volunteer counsellors available.
